IOSCO-World Bank Workshop on Sustainability Reporting Adoption Roadmaps for Growth and Emerging Markets, Rabat, Morocco, 4-5 June 2025
IOSCO is collaborating with the World Bank to assist with the sustainability reporting adoption plans of jurisdictions, which will involve dialogue and consultation with national stakeholders and more strategic jurisdictional decisions. This program is targeted at IOSCO´s Growth and Emerging Market (GEM) membership and rolled out throughout the various regions with selected member jurisdictions. It is part of IOSCO´s capacity building program for corporate sustainability reporting to assist its members on their journeys towards adoption and implementation of the ISSB Standards, which is a key support mechanism for the GEMC Network for the Adoption and Other Use of ISSB Standards.
Building on the earlier IOSCO-World Bank Workshops that have been held in the various regions, this workshop is targeted at GEM members in the Africa/Middle-East region, and will be hosted by the AMMC Morocco in Rabat, Morocco, on 4-5 June 2025. For all details, please visit the Members Area.

IOSCO-IFRSF Capacity Building Program on Sustainable Finance: Sustainability Disclosure Requirements for Corporate Issuers, Technical Training Workshop, Doha, Qatar, 24-25 February 2025
IOSCO has developed a capacity building program to support an efficient implementation of the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards. The program is exclusively tailored for securities regulators that are members of IOSCO. As part of this capacity building program, IOSCO, together with the IFRS Foundation, is organizing a two-day technical training workshop for IOSCO members from the Africa/Middle-East region, hosted by the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority in Doha, Qatar, on 24-25 February 2025. IOSCO Asia Pacific Hub Webinar on 2025 Regional Outlook: Emerging Regulatory Risks for the Asia Pacific Region, 7 February 2025
The IOSCO Asia Pacific Hub will be hosting its first program in 2025 on emerging regulatory risks anticipated for capital markets in the Asia Pacific region. It will begin with an analysis of the expected regional macroeconomic conditions and challenges that could impact the regulatory landscape.
Emerging risks that would be covered more extensively include areas in sustainable finance, the transformative role of digitalisation and AI, and the potential dynamic changes within traditional markets. It would also briefly cover emerging regulatory risks and proposed strategies in the ASEAN capital markets.
Participants will gain insights on regulatory issues that could shape regional markets, helping to inform policy direction in the region moving forward.
